History
1987
Revision to Super Worm occurred in the summer of 1987. A new lower terminal was built 50’ further down the hill. The speed increased to 800 feet per minute (9.1 MPH). Many of the parts for this tow donated by Crystal Mountain Inc. dc87
1982
Some of the poles for the Mach and Worm tows were replaced. ma82

Replaced rope with old Mach rope. hw

- Revise winch and take-up at head pole (tree) hw
- Bridge across top of safety gate poles.
- On top of bridge a carrier pulley for return rope

A major achievement of the work parties was completion of the new beginner rope tow. ma74
Repowered with 7.5 HP electric motor and converter to enable 3 phase motor to run on 1 phase supply. hw

Completed construction of “worm tow” located parallel to Mach and rising about 160 vertical feet. Length 450’. It runs slower for beginners. ma78
