Location

Atop the Lane.

Purpose

An operator in the Tow Hut cannot always see to the top of Mach. In good weather, binoculars are needed. In inclement weather, it’s impossible. The top sections of the Lane are closed except when an operator is posted, ready to press the Big Red Button if a safety concern arises.
